Who we are

Tandem is building the first AI assistant for IEP management, helping schools simplify compliance, scheduling, and communication so educators can spend more time supporting students. We’re a small, mission-driven team that believes the right tools can make special education more human, not more bureaucratic. Our culture is collaborative, analytical, and grounded in empathy. We work closely with educators to build products that solve real problems, not just check boxes.

Who we’re not

We’re not a startup chasing flashy trends or quick exits. We don’t build tech for tech’s sake, and we’re not interested in jargon-heavy marketing that talks at educators. We’re not rigid or hierarchical; we value people who take initiative, think creatively, and care deeply about impact.
